The sensitivity level of the metal detectors kids can be easily controlled by the sensitive control button, which is suitable for detecting different kinds of metal objects; The volume can be adjusted as needed, which is very suitable for detection in various environments.
Important
- Always remove the batteries for prolonged storage. Adjust the search coil so that it is parallel to the ground.
- This is a "motion" detector, the search coil must be moving to detect the presence of metal.
- Use and store the metal detector only in normal temperature environments. Temperature extremes can shorten its life.
- Be careful to prevent water from entering the control housing.
- If the detector keeps emitting erratic signals in the field, the sensitivity may be set too high, please try reducing the sensitivity until the false signal disappears.
LCD and SOUND Indication
The LCD shows the battery level, letting you know when it is time to replace the battery; in the search state, the LCD screen will show that it is searching, with no sound; when metal is found, our product will emit an audio Alarm, the screen will display "METAL FOUND".
Waterproof Search Coil
The waterproof coil allows you to detect metals in a humid environment, which is very suitable for shallow water places, such as beaches, rivers, streams and so on.
Please note: that the search coil is waterproof, but the control box is not waterproof and cannot be used while diving.

After assembly is complete, turn the knob under the volume adjuster up and the screen will light up.
Rotate the knob below SENSITIVITY CONTROL until the METAL FOUND indicator appears on the screen and beeps, then stops.
Turn the knob in the opposite direction until SEARCH is displayed on the screen and the beeping stops, then it stops.
Then adjust the volume to the maximum and adjust the sensitivity to the best state. Metals can be inspected on the inspection board with satisfactory results.

Fun idea to hunt for treasure!
My five year old got this for Christmas. I hid quarters and some other objects for us to find. The detector did not detect the quarters, but it did find many other things. Lots of things were too deep for us to find. I did not expect the detector to detect things so deep. This product is a lot of fun. We can't wait to take it to the beach. However, it is NOT waterproof. Be careful.
