Bought it for my new 2019 roku ultra. It was reformatted by roku easily and it did an update on all the apps. Works great. Saw many reviews when it did not work on an earlier version of roku. It did work on the new 2019 roku ultra. 16 GB may be large for what I need but was cheaper that the 2GB on Amazon for roku.

BUT, these are not true surround sound speakers. They replace your TVs speakers and will NOT work with an older Roku soundboard. You'll have to purchase a NEW Roku Streambar/Roku Smartbar. That was not explained well enough. Now these speakers are defently high performance and sound great as main speaker for TV. Anyone need an older Roku soundbar lol...

Already have the Roku Stream Bar and Sub Woofer and decided to add the Speakers. All I can say is Wow ! , the sound is outstanding, great build quality, easy to add to your Roku System.

Amazing wireless speakers, so easy to setup.
The sound is amazing, clear and vibrant, so glad I chose Roku speakers to go with my Roku TV. Set up is so easy, you won't be sorry if you choose to purchase, good job Roku!

So Far, So Good...
FYI, they only work with the Roku StreamBar. Sound quality is nice. But then the Doc tells me I have the hearing of a 98 year old man. Too much time in the wrong places for the past 60 years. Easy to install and set-up. The Roku StreamBar actually does the set-up/wireless connecting. Volume control is all through the Roku StreamBar. System uses the same remote control as all the Roku stuff. Downside, these and the Roku woofer will only work with the Roku StreamBar. So, if the StreamBar takes a dump, the speakers are worthless. So far we are happy with everything.

read is you have a Roku
the remote for a roku will make the lights do wierd random things, must be on the same spectrum. Just set up the reciever away from the roku so the roku remote signal dosen't hit it.

This 2TB version is the only one that will work ..
This 2TB version is the only one that will work with the Roku. The 3TB will not work because of the size of the drive partition. This is the one to get if you plan on streaming directly through your Roku.

They’re okay
You cannot connect this to roku sticks or the roku media box. We had to go buy a roku stream bar to connect them. Something we didn’t realize when we purchased it. They work okay. They do what they say and get really loud, but I don’t find the sound to be amazing by surround sound standards.

Awesome
Clear warm even sound. Clear voice option is awesome. Doesn’t have super deep bass but is more than adequate for an apartment without shaking the walls and floor. Only negative is universal remote doesn’t work with Roku remote for the Roku stick, but got it to work with the remote for the Roku 4K HDR media player.
