After losing my Gopro, I thought I'd check out some other action cams and chose the Akaso V50x. I'm very impressed. The image stabilization is way better than I expected. I mainly have used my cam in the ocean, filming shore break and snorkeling and I also take it hiking. The video quality underwater is great the water proof case works fantastic. I took it with me up the Koko Crater trail, which is an old, moderately steep train track and the video turned out awesome. It picked up the sunrise lighting really well and was nice and smooth with minimal shaking. The quality of the camera is great. The rubberized covering makes it feel tough. The buttons work great and feel solid. I really like the touch screen it comes with. I didn't think I really needed a touch screen, but now I'm stoked it has one. The still photos I snapped turned out surprisingly good and to me it had less of a fisheye distortion than my old Gopro had. Also, the fact it is real 4k Native was a selling point for me. Overall, I'm very satisfied with purchasing the Akaso V50x. The price is amazingly good for the quality of the camera I got and it comes with a ton of attachments and 2 batteries! I have already highly recommended it to my friends.
