Honestly you get what you paid for. Its a $100 "4k" camera. I would say its more a glorified dash cam.I needed a inexpensive camera for making demo carpentry videos and I purchased this camera in particular after some research.The negative in my opinion is the wide angle view you get while recording. I have worked with setting trying to correct this but every recording always looks like a wide panoramic angle. The 4k quality advertised is not all there but really its as best as you will get for the money.The camera is very picky on the type of SD cards you use in it.The battery life is about an hour 30 min span in 1080, they do include two batteries and if the battery dies while recording it will save up to the moment it turned off.The prospective case prevents usb microphone to be connected, so while it does protect the camera from damage the issue here is either protect your camera and have no sound or use it with microphone and risk dropping it and breaking it. If you plan on leaving in place to record than it should be ok.The sound is dreadful to say the least. Even with the microphone I would say its ok to say the least.Settings are very easy to get to and user friendly.The separate accessories set is loaded but all made of plastic so not really made for extreme outdoor use.Overall if you want a no sound stationary camera with decent quality than this is the one, otherwise just spend the money and get your self a better one.
