Speakers tend to get a bad rap. The problem with reviewing speakers is there are TWO things at play, not just the speakers. If your computer has a terrible sound card or terrible on-board sound, the best speakers on the planet won't rectify this.So, before we start, if you're using a big-name computer manufacturer like Dell, HP, Lenovo, you will need to take additional steps to get decent sound.Basically, you should have some sort of audio driver app on your computer. Might be Realtek, Waves Maxxaudio, SoundMAX etc.If it's Waves Maxxaudio...honestly? Abandon all hope and purchase a USB sound card such as Creative's own Sound Blaster Play! 3. They're not expensive, and you'll never get decent sound out of Maxxaudio. You just won't. Dell desktops usually come with this, and it's junk.Realtek you're probably ok. In the app, you should have access to an equalizer, and I tend to bump up 67 hz significantly, and lower 125 hz as it's too boomy with these speakers. Give a little bump to 8k and 16k while you're at it to make everything sound a bit crisper.If you do have the Sound Blaster Play! 3, install the driver that goes with it and you'll have access to the EQ, as well as other features. Increasing the "Crystalizer" works wonders with these speakers.But after they're all configured nicely, I don't think anyone would complain about these speakers. They seem to offer fairly good response through the spectrum. Obviously, there's no subwoofer, so you're not going to get those rumbles in the 20-50 Hz range. But that's expected.All in all, these are pretty marvelous little speakers for the cost. It's pretty amazing how far we've come, as many of us likely still remember the Beige Beauties in the 90's that sounded like they made speaker cones from soda cans.

I bought 2 pairs of these back in 2015 and 5 years later they still play well and sound great. I cannot say a bad thing about these cabs. They are a great product for the price. Oh I used these as spa speakers, home theatre speakers and as computer speakers at different times since I bought them.

These speakers sound really good and easy to install. Plug and play. Now I can listen to movies with a better sound. Great product and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great set of speakers for their laptop.

These speakers sound great and have a nice range. I use them with my Mac and can play to the whole room! Definitely recomend

Nice broad base play to keep speakers balanced. Internal speaker wire too narrow to fit our speaker connection through.

Very pleased with the sound quality both in and out. I namely bought them for video conferencing, for which they are working like an ace. With the detachable mic, they're also great while traveling and around the house listening to audio tracks from podcasts to my Spotify music playlists. You have to educate yourself on the buttons and place them to memory in the beginning. Only then, are the controls not so confusing upon activating while wearing. I'm happy with these all-in-one headphones; super value for the money - thanks Avantree.

I normally don't write reviews AT ALL. I was a little skeptical at first ordering these speakers because I never heard them in a physical setting. I am firm believer of "trust but verify" but I decided to purchase this set based on the specs and reviews. After playing all types of music, I found that they play music clear with the bass booming. You don't even have to turn them up all the way up to get the sound quality you desire. These are definitely quality speakers and worth the $$. For what you pay for, you get way more than what's its worth and that is hard to come by these days. I would definitely recommend these speakers to anyone that is looking for a nice set of quality speakers. You won't be disappointed. GET THEM !!

Everything is perfect aside from having to go into my registry to change the fact that after turning the speakers on, it takes 3 seconds to play sound.
