Ring O2 absolutely great for me!
I don’t have any symptoms when my O2 sat drops, so I have to monitor 24/7. I have occasional drops throughout the day and have to use supplemental oxygen, and my O2 sat will always drop at night if I roll to my back or left side. At this point, I have used three fingertip oximeters, one that connects to a wrist monitor (SleepU), and my Apple Watch. As far as accuracy is concerned, I can tell you without a doubt that, if I monitored my O2 sat wearing all of the oximeters (which I’ve done as a test), it’s rare for any two would read the same at any given time. Some monitor every ten seconds, some every four seconds, etc., so it’s rare for all of them to actually catch up to the others and have the same reading. I now own two of the Ring O2, and they read consistently within 1% of each other, versus 5 to 10% with the other devices, which is why I trust this device. Of course, there’s always a chance of having a defective oximeter, but having done due diligence with testing, the Ring O2 has proven to be very accurate.Another deciding factor toward the purchase of the Ring O2 is that I am a fairly active person, and the other oximeters require me to stop whatever I’m doing to check my O2 or they drops the signal, which makes me have to remove the device and restart the whole process. This device allows me the freedom to remain active and has yet to drop the signal. I love it.As far as the app goes, once you take the time to figure it all out, it’s really pretty amazing. It was pretty frustrating at first using on the smart phone, simply because it’s so small (definitely better on iPad). However, after playing with it long enough, I finally learned you can use the two-finger zoom and expand the view and scroll across to where you can see all of the data down to the minute. You can also share your report converted to PDF and/or export a very detailed report into Excel, and I do mean many-pages-long VERY detailed. All of the reports can also be printed out.Outside of the device, itself, the customer service reps are amazing. The SleepU kept dropping the signal or gave erroneous readings with movement, so I contacted them about returning that unit and exchanging for another Ring O2. They were very courteous and helpful. Couldn’t ask for better service.Taking all ofthis into consideration, the Ring O2 is about as accurate as I can get and allows me to be as active as I can. I now have two, one for day and one for night, and I’m actually considering a third one for backup, just in case I forget to put one on the charger. All of the other oximeters are now stored in a drawer.

Best O2 monitor I've used.
I use this ring O2 monitor with the O2 Insight Pro V1.8.0 software on a Windows system.I've previously been using a wrist O2 monitor from the same company for a few years, and am quite happy with it. This new ring O2 monitor is definitely a step up in the level of usability and comfort, and is now my primary O2 monitor. It couldn't be easier to use, you put it on, the device turns on and records, you take it off, the device turns off. From O2 Insight Pro, you can download pdf and csv report data for each session. There's also a very useful undocumented feature, which is that another dataset is silently written into a directory named for the serial number of the device. That dataset is in Viatom format, which cpap software like OSCAR can directly import and integrate into the overall cpap dataset. This is a very valuable advantage that should be documented so users are aware it exists.I occasionally use the ViHealth phone app with the O2 devices, and while it's useful, I find the desktop software to be more appropriate for my needs. An area of improvement is for the csv file format the V1.8.0 O2 Insight Pro software writes. The date format is not recognized by post-processing software (like Microsoft Excel) because the time/date string does not include a space before "AM" or "PM". A workaround is to manually search and replace all instances of AM or PM to insert a space, then Excel properly recognizes it as a time/date and you can graph a time series from it.Another improvement opportunity would be to display and record pulse wave(plethysmograph)Also, if you have multiple O2 monitors like I do, remember to disconnect the usb adapter for other monitors before connecting this device's usb adapter, in order to be able to download data from it in Insight Pro.The IP21 rating and 10-90% humidity spec might be a problem in some sports activities, but for general use it's fine.

Easy to use
I bought the o2 Ring because my doctor said my sleep study for sleep apnea was overdue. As an alternative to a sleep study he said I could use a pulse-oximeter to monitor my sleep. I picked the o2 Ring to download data to PC. Initially it could not find my device because I was using a USB hub. I plugged it into my computer USB port and the problem was resolved. My limited use so far has been very positive.

Leaks from the reservoir
I really love this coffee maker. Makes a good strong enough for me, hot cup of coffee. Only that it leaks from the water reservoir. I watched a youtube video on this & someone said to put a rubber O ring on the stem that fits into the reservoir holder. I went to the hardware store & the man told me the old Keurigs had the O ring. Now they don’t. I got the wrong size so I’ll go back & get another size. Worth a try.

Very Dependable by M Hughes
This Ring has been my most valuable exercise tool. I suffer from ILD, a debilitating lung disease. My PO2 drops to dangerously low levels with exertion. This ring warns me when that happens. Coupled with the app I can now have a continuous record of my O2 levels during exercise and also my nightly levels. I can share this with my pulmonologist. The O2 ring reading are within 1% the the readings as measured by my pulmonologist.I love it Excellent device for those who need to monitor their PO2.

Value for your money, it costs every penny you pay
It is the second O2ring I buy since it is the best for me. This one I bought is for my grandmother since COVID left her with consequences and I like to monitor her for the good of all....

Perfect, except for one thing!
It's pretty loud. The clicking was a little immersion breaking. I equipped it with "O" ring silencers, and replaced the WASD and spacebar with "silent red" switches. It's perfect now!

Very accurate - integrates with Oscar Cpap softwar
I purchased the first one in 2019. That one fell off nightstand recently and was run over by the vacuum. Ouch! The device is so important for my CPAP monitoring that I purchased this one. The included O2 Insight Pro software provides great reports which I used to prove to my PCP that my oxygen saturation was plunging only at night even while getting good CPAP scores. Now using oxygen concentrator with CPAP and O2 saturation is always between 94-98%. The O2 ring verifies that result every night. For those using CPAP/APAP I would highly recommend purchasing this device to verify actual O2 drops at night. This also integrates with the excellent CPAP monitoring program OSCAR. In OSCAR you can bring the O2Ring oximetry data into the program and the results are shown in the same nightly report. Awesome! Final thoughts - get this device and get OSCAR if you are a CPAP user!
