I recently bought Bose Companion 2 series iii spea
I recently bought Bose Companion 2 series iii speakers (also $99) and the Logitech Z623 absolutely BLOWS THEM OUT OF THE WATER. You won't find computer speakers that sound this clean, tight or loud for under $249, period. The subwoofer is very tight and hits really damn hard for an 8". The subwoofer hits just as hard as an Infinity BassLink 10" 200w subwoofer. Since the satellite speakers use 2.5" full-range drivers, the subwoofer fills in some of the lower "mids" for them. Treble is very clear and bright (maybe too much sometimes, but EQ on iTunes fixes that). A test I do for speakers is play Knife Party Centipede really loud (without distorting). The Z623 passes with flying colors. Just wow. My only problem is getting my picture frames to stop rattling!

For the price they're hard to beat
For what they are, they perform amazingly well. No small speakers on a desktop will ever match full-range bookshelf speakers for the lower midrange sound (deep voice vocals) but the subwoofer in this set really helps close that gap. Plus, for the price, they're hard to beat. They won't touch a set a Infinity bookshelf speakers for clarity and midrange performance, but you'd have to spend 4x as much to get those plus a good receiver. The bass dips way down to provide a soft low rumble when it's needed, while still providing a solid punch in the 120-hz range. If you want better, you'll need to quadruple your budget. Otherwise for music, gaming, and movies, these are likely the best all-around speaker set.

Build a box like I did.
Sounds VERY good for the money. I wanted some boxes for my Jeep rather than replacing the rear door speakers because I camp and tailgate and wanted to be able to take them out to point at us. Besides the rear door speakers didn’t add much. I built a pair of about .6 cubic ft wedges from 3/4 particle board and mounted the crossovers inside. They are just hooked to the rear outs of the factory radio (Infinity system) and they sound great. Not sure how well they would do with more power, but I am very happy with the results so far. Can’t beat for 35 bucks. Only thing I found unusual was the woofer baskets are plastic (although stiff and solid). Doesn’t seem to hurt anything. Not earthshaking bass, but surprisingly solid sounding for 6.5 inches.

Lots of kick in this little speaker.
This speaker has a very rich and dynamic sound. It's closer to the really nice (old school) "boom boxes" from the 80's/90's. I connected two speakers and placed them across the room and it sounded fantastic. When connecting multiple devices, make sure just 1 speaker is connected to the source via blue tooth. Both speakers must be powered up to start. Press the "party boost" button (looks like an infinity symbol) on the first speaker, then press it on the second. It connects seamlessly.

Great speakers & Even greater price!!!
Just received these and installed them in a 2 way infinity RS-2000 bookshelf speaker. They sound absolutely wonderful !!!!!You won't be disappointed.....

Visual is an improvent.
I do like the looks and the sound is a bit better. Wish the volume control was more of an infinity control rather than specific levels: 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, etc. Do not like the colored light that rotates until you answer it and really dislike that it was looking for a review. Not the purpose of the devise.

Il prezzo vale il giocattolo
Le sue cose le fa:orario battito cardiaco co2 e pressione. Gli sfondi sono un po' ma nessuno di accattivante. Il conto alla rovescia non è programmabile ma prefissato 1,2,5,10,15,30 Min che lo rende di fatto inutile. In generale però lo promuovo come orologio da combattimento quotidiano

Perfect for colic baby
The options on what noise to pick, volume buttons, lights on or off and how long to have it (including 'infinity')! Super helpful for helping my baby fall back asleep when she wakes. Should've bought this months ago.
