Good quality, solid metal construction & smoothly turning aperture ring:
Good quality, solid metal construction, smooth turning of aperture ring from OPEN position (widest aperture) to LOCK (smallest aperture). The only reason for not giving the fifth star in my rating is because the aperature ring does not close my lens completely to its smallest aperture f22 - the highest aperture setting appears to be about f16, therefore my f1.7 to f22 lens cannot be set at f22. The aperture control ring has a total of 5 stops: OPEN (largest aperture setting), LOCK (smallest aperture setting), and 3 click stops in between. Of course you can choose any setting between the click stops as well. There is a less expensive version of this type of adaptor that has stops marked from 0 to 7 (8 stops) which handles my f1.7 to f22 perfectly from largest aperture f1.7 to smallest f22. This lower priced product does the job nicely but the thing that I do not like about it is that the aperture control ring is not smooth at all (probably no ball bearing). The smooth aperture ring product of this review does work for all stops on my 28-80mm Maxxum zoom lens.

Works great!
Works great! Note that it only works with certain lenses, and that it slows down auto-focus by 75%. Still, if you need more reach for your lens, and can live with two stops of reduced aperture, this is your solution. Tip: the lens cover for the top of the extender is very similar to, but slightly deeper than, a standard top lens cover, so you may want to label it.

Amazing iPhone Widefield/Macro Lens
The quality of the widefield/Macro lens is first rate. Comes in an impressive black box with a rechargeable snap on light, USB charge cable and cleaning clothes. Easy to snap on and align with the iPhone camera's small aperture. Took two shots with and one without and the widefield lens makes a much more impressive video!!

Perfect
Absolutely love this and keep it attached at all times. It's so sturdy and versatile plus stops me putting my fingers over the lens when holding the camera ) Will get one for my DSLR next.

Possibly more useful than the nifty fifty
I picked up this lens for its "macro" capabilities, and while it is not a 1:1 true macro, the short focal distance is still a huge win. What I didnt expect that was between that short focal distance and the image stabilization in the lens that this would replace my RF50mm as the piece of glass that is on my camera the most for day to day shooting. With the same wide aperture as the RF50mm 1.8, this lens can create great background separation and works impressively in low light situations as well.

One of My Favorite Lenses
I love the 50mm lens. If you're not accustomed to using prime lenses, it can be difficult to get used to because you have to move around with the camera to get more or less in the picture. However, being able to adjust the aperture all the way to f1.8 makes up for having to move around so much. It's a great lens, especially if you're just starting out and want to affordably upgrade from your kit lens. I highly recommend it!

Good for glare fits well works well
This seems to reduce light by two stops but the image quality is good. Like the rotating polarizer and fits well on both my tommy and zoom lens

Prime with a punch.
I own the canon r6 which I shoot booth photos and videos. The 24mm was more for video because of its light weight and form factor. It’s still a great lens for pictures and heavily used when indoors. Love the fast aperture and how sharp the images come out. I own the 15-35rf but this lens has faster aperture that gives me just a little more light in those dark situations. The 15-35rf is also MUCH more heavier.

this 50mm lens is a great thing to add to your cam
Without getting into technical specs (there are plenty of reviews focusing more on that), this 50mm lens is a great thing to add to your camera bag, especially if you're just starting out. I'd recommend it as the first non-kit lens that anyone buy. If you are worried about using a prime/fixed lens, don't be. It is rather intuitive and the flexibility in depth of field offered with a f/1.8 aperture is well worth having to take a few steps backward or forward.
