Beautiful warm look, with more bloom
Very well made and packaged — comes with a nice protective case. Usual K&F quality: solid glass and a really nice matte ring/frame.
I regularly use the Black Diffusion 1/4, but I also prefer a warmer look, and this Gold diffusion does a good job adding that warmth to my shots.
However, based on my early tests, the bloom you get with a Gold diffusion at 1/4 will seem heavier than what I get on a Black diffusion 1/4. Probably because of the lighter colour particles in the glass.
Overall I do like the look. Bloom & contrast might be a little stronger for most people, but I don’t mind it.
