Recommend for casual photography, not for fast set up.
Build quality: it is sturdy.
Functionality: I do not prefer having to tighten and loosen the legs by twisting mechanism. I prefer to extend the legs by flipping the flips.
Weight: I wouldn't say its light or heavy.
Design: The ball mount design is easy to use and it stays in places.
