A 2-in-1 filter that combines CPL and black mist for a highly effective and expressive look.
This is a 55mm K&F Concept True Color CPL & 1/4 Black Mist 2-in-1 lens filter.
[Good Points]
- No need to switch between two filters, so you can start shooting quickly.
- I've barely had to worry about vignetting so far.
- It also suppressed flare and ghosting.
[Concerns]
- Since the CPL and black mist functions cannot be adjusted separately, it's not ideal for shooting with just one filter.
- There's a slight reduction in light output, so you'll need to adjust the shutter speed and ISO in dark places.

- It effectively removes reflections from water and glass, making colors more vibrant.
- There's no unnatural color cast, and it also reduces yellowing in video.

This is a multi-function filter that combines a CPL (circular polarizing filter) and a 1/4 black mist filter. I've used CPL/black mist filters in studio and location shoots, but this was my first time using a 2-in-1 type.
When I actually attached it and shot, the reflection-suppressing CPL and the soft light blurring of the black mist combined to recreate the colors and textures I had in mind.
The polarization effect felt a little softer than a standalone CPL filter, but the colors were still natural and vivid, and it also reduced the yellow cast in video.
