This is a light plastic construction clip which is ideal for ND and other filters for phone photography and videography. I use 67mm ND filters to allow me to shoot 24fps video on my phone. This clip has just enough pressure in the spring to hold the filter in place without slippage. The rubber circular pad on the back of the clip (behind the filter) also helps to keep the clip in firmly in place on the body of the back the phone.My previous filter holder was held in place by a large padded screw which could easily be over-tightened and thus risk damaging the touch screen. But this clip has just the right amount of pressure in the spring to prevent that kind of problem. The touch actions on the screen are unaffected by having the clip in place, and the rubber pad on the clip face should prevent any risk of scratches to the screen.The plastic construction feels strong enough for regular use, but you can feel a slight amount of flex in the clip body. This actually helps the filters to be screwed in very smoothly without the metal-to-metal rough feel you can sometimes have with metal filter holders. I’m very pleased with this so far, it has become my go-to filter clip because it is so quick and easy to use.
