Solid, convenient but comes up a bit short
Firstly, this is a very solid and well constructed selfie stick as is usually the case with K&F Concept gear. The connection mechanism is all metal and works smoothly and the lock feature is great for added piece of mind. The silicone lens protector is a nice inclusion as the Insta360X5 basic packages do not come with one and they usually retail for around £10-15 separately, however I do think that forcing people to buy both for nearly £35 is a bit of a bad move. You see, whilst the build quality is good and the folding mechanism for storing the camera attached to the stick in your pocket it handy (you'll need pretty big pockets by the way), £34 ish is a lot for a selfie stick that isn't actually that long. It isn't as long as the selfie stick that comes in most bundles with the camera or is available separately for around £15-20.If paying this kind of money for a selfie stick, I'd at least want it AS long as the standard one, if not a bit longer. As it stands, this is just a little underwhelming. If all you need is a short-ish selfie stick for snowboarding etc. that you absolutely must be able to fit into your pocket, then this is absolutely perfect. Otherwise, I just can't see much reason to she'll out this kind of money instead of just taking the camera off the selfie stick and popping them both in your pocket.Good, bit could have been better with a little more forethought.
