Excellent Microscope for Homeschool Science Labs
THE MICROSCOPE IS AN EXCELLENT ADDITION TO OUR HOMESCHOOL CLASSROOM. The clarity and detail make you want to play on the microscope all day. We just wanted to collect random things around the house to examine it under the microscope. I've included a pine leaf (purple) and onion skin (turquoise). It's definitely worth the price. Enjoy your new microscope.

A few settings to help get the best image quality at very high magnifications.
To use the 100X objective lens, plus the 25X eyepiece for 2,500X, you have to adjust the "Concentrator" slide control underneath the stage and also adjust the light setting for best results. Since it's a Trinocular microscope, I leave the digital camera in place and adjust it along with the "diopter adjustment" so that up is up and down is down on both my laptop image and what I also see in the eye pieces. Also, on the software program I use the "flip and mirror" settings so that the image is not reversed left and right on the screen. This is a great microscope. I wish I would have had one when I was studying biology back in my college days. Hope it helps. Good luck.

Very good value & performance! works like a champ!
Just got it today and plugged it in and it works pretty well. Seems built very well. Very complete kit even includes a nice case. Nothing broken. Great performance for a low price. I got an excellent image on my laptop, which was the same view through the eyepieces.

I stated that I wanted a “pretty good” microscope for my birthday. I told them not to spend thousands, but that they should be able to find one that would satisfy my wants for a few hundred. We spent all weekend looking at different things! One of the kids said” This is just like the ones we had in science class!” Comes with everything you could need. The soft case is in the background along with slides and all sorts of accessories. Great gift for the curious in your life.

I‘d much rather them be viewing life through a microscope than glued to a video game screen.
I purchased this Kentfaith microscope for my Koi pond. My teenage and pre-teen grandkids came over and fell in love with the microscope! They were plucking algae from the pond and reveling in the critters they saw in the water. I had to buy each of them this microscope for their birthdays. I‘d much rather them be viewing life through a microscope than glued to a video game screen.The little caterpillar-like thing was crawling all over the slide, with its head bobbing on its journey through this new terrain (and, yes, we did put it back in the pond to the best of our ability)! Just think—it has no idea we exist, and we had no idea it existed until we watched it busily moving around the slide cover. The microscope allows an iPhone (or any phone) to serve as your eye. Definitely consider this as a holiday or birthday gift and open your child's world! And no, I was not paid to write this! I rarely write reviews, but this microscope is totally worth the money!

Quality Microscope
Amazing microscope, I wanting something for me to explore and experiment at home. I purchased a cheaper microscope and it let me down but this one is really good. The quality is great, it’s easy to use and I love that you can hook it up to your computer. It does come with an accessory kit but it’s nothing special and pretty cheap. The microscope is easy to function and I love that it also comes with a case. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
