Well-made, functional
The headline ("well-made, functional") might not sound exciting, but those are key qualities. For the price, my expectations were modest for even one monopod. To get two for that price smacked of cheaply-made. Glad I was wrong. These monopods are sturdy and easy to use. The handstraps also make them useful as walking sticks. That latter feature was fortunate. I wanted a monopod for use on our African safari. My spouse sprained her ankle and was able to use them to assist in getting around on the safari. An all-around solid purchase with more value that I planned. The only downside (if you can call it that) is the length. When fully collapsed, they are a very tight fit in carry-on luggage. I was able to just squeeze them into my backpack. It worked out, though another half inch and they would not have fit. For their designed purpose, these monopods are great.
