the sound is very good for the price when worn, when not worn the sound is much less full. but it is designed to be worn. battery life (so far) is great, though it takes so long to recharge it makes me wonder why the usb-c; it couldnt possibly take longer w/ micro-usb (up to 6 hours. that said you can easily charge it overnite for the next day.now for the headline - you will drop this. even just sitting at a desk and taking it off before standing up every time. just accept that the speaker will get dropped. i tethered mine w/ paracord to a paracord lanyard but i wear it to the supermarket so your needs will vary from mine.for the price it is great. i would have paid five dollars more for a model w/o FM radio but that option is not offered. the phone function works and that is all i will say on that. make sure you get a Bluedio branded speaker as that is what is offered on this catalog page. if the box doesnt say bluedio or the contents are spurious send it back and buy from a better amazon vendor or buy from Bluedio (i did for just this reason).sound is better than i expected for 20usd. not audiophile but good.
