Worked for my application, knife sharpening
I seldom make reviews but I am really impressed with this unit. Ordered this unit to replace my 640x480 USB microscope because I wanted wireless capability and a higher native optical quality. From the description it appeared the sensor pixel count was 720 x 1280 which is a three fold increase in detail from my 640 x 480. Once I unpacked it, loaded the app from Google Play and turned it on it connected instantly. First thing I was very impressed with was the smoothness of the zoom knob and the ease of changing the lighting level. After I took a few pictures of the tablecloth and placemats (nearest things at hand) I pulled up the pictures to see what the native resolution was. I was super pleased to find it is 1536 x 2048! That's over 10 times the resolution of my little 640 x 480 unit. The picture quality is excellent. I'm a happy guy. Just ordered a second one and the stand for it. It's great to find an excellent deal once in awhile.
