Good choice for a budget trail cam.
Update: it turns out rechargeable batteries worked fine!For the price and for my needs, this is a very good trail cam. I got it to figure out what has been eating my tomato plants in the middle of the night. Turns out it was squirrels and a raccoon! I like that this has two mounting options. It the woods, I would probably use the strap, but in my yard I was able to use the mount to affix it to my fence. The controls are simple and picture quality and night vision are about what you would expect from a budget trail cam. The one downside is that it requires 8 AA batteries and rechargeable batteries are not recommended. Aside from that, I am pleased.

a sleep training tool that puts baby & me to ease
We got the Ohma monitor just in time for sleep training our 9 month old which has been a bear. She flights sleep and doesn’t like to be left alone in her crib. She gets upset and cries herself to sleep more often than not. The music and light features both provide her comfort as she settles in her crib. The camera feature provides us comfort as we monitor from the other room. The app is easy to use and it sets our mind at ease to be able to check the temperature in her room. Finally, it’s a great comfort that the monitoring system is secured with 2-step authentication and encryption so that it feels safe to use.

Record Your Adventures Without Spending GoPro Mone
A great starter camera that's affordable if you're just getting into vlogging, enjoy capturing your outdoor adventures or utilize it as a dash/helmet cam for when you're driving or riding. Comes with a ton of accessories for mounting it just about anywhere or on your person. If you're looking for GoPro quality, stabilization and battery life; just save your money or splurge on the latest and greatest of them. However, if you're like me and are more budget minded, then you won't be disappointed by this little guy. It punches above its own weight class in all the metrics that folks care about. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic Quality for the Price
I purchased this specifically for a cruise to Panama that was to include snorkeling, swimming, and getting rained on a LOT. We'd tried cases for a our smartphones for underwater in the past, and were not impressed. I chose the Akaso based on the features, review, and price. That said, I had pretty high expectations, and it still surprised me. The quality for short distance, landscape, and underwater is really good. The included accessories are pretty substantial, and work well. I will echo another reviewer and recommend a floating handle for use with the waterproof case, as it's so small that the buttons can be difficult to press. Overall I'm very happy with this and would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive waterproof action camera.

So far so good with this product and my use of it.
I like the arm band with the picture and video buttons for the unit. It is really responsive when I use it and I can just sit back and wait until some action happens and then capture it. I use it to record my daughter's soccer games and will be using it when I go fishing, hiking and camping. Sometimes I use it as a dashcam with the plastic molding stuck to my dash board allowing for me to slide the unit on and off with ease. I like the size of the camera outside the waterproof case. I like the battery charger and the fact it came with two batteries. It is a nice unit to begin a blog with, I just have to find some editing software.

A solid competitor to GoPro!
I have made some Youtube videos with this camera using a helmet mount. I have never owned a GoPro but the Black 7 seems to be the benchmark. For a third of the price, this unit delivers 75% of the features and image quality of the leading competitor. I use 4K 30 FPS with the EIS on and it does a decent job when riding off road on my ATV. I add some post-edit image stabilization typically. I do not think the EIS is as good as GoPro. But, then again, you are paying a third of the price roughly! I am much less afraid to lose or break this unit at the lower price point. And it works great with Windows 10. The audio is average with the case on. I do highly recommend it!

Most satisfied with this one so far
I enjoy the quality of this cam the most. I have 4 different logitech cams so far. This one isnt the clearest quality during live footage like skype, but it is clear enough(dont need anyone to see my pores, so this one is fine) and the swivel is very helpful for what I need this camera for. This is the only cam I use for videos and they come out in great HD quality and lighting. This is the second time I've bought this cam because I work on two separate laptops. I bought the C920, but didnt really like it as much thats how I ended up repurchasing another of these.Only wished the cord was longer.

Amazing quality at an amazing price!!!
I have to admit i was skeptical when i purchased the Akaso but i was completely blown away. I did not want to spend what a Go Pro cost but ended up getting the same awesome results. I wanted this for music videos of demos for my guitar and the image quality was full 1080p and super sharp. I love it and many friends of mine have grabbed these since i ordered mine and since they saw the results. The only comment to Akaso is that at times the app can be glitchy and was wondering if there will be an update soon. The quality of the camera is top notch and with the one i got, i got literally a box of various attachments, mounts etc. For the $$ it cant be beat.!!!
