As a Former go pro person. I love this little action camera. It ain’t no joke.I have multiple videos on my YouTube channel @ pakala mtb. If there are any crappy shots or funny things you think is happening in my videos trust me it’s user error as I learn more of its capabilities.I’m starting to see more and of these everywhere.Bike parks, open trails, bad lighting and crashes it’s handled it all like a champ.It’s amazing how people still think I’m using a go pro lol. When I destroy this one the 8 is the next step.

Good flash
The low battery light indicator is a lifesaver! Flickers and lets me know when I'm running low before my flash dies, so I can switch out the batteries. Vertical and horizontal rotation. Manual flash is big and bright and lights up my space evenly. I like the hot shoe stand, works as a base for keeping the flash on flat surfaces but I can also take it off and keep it on top of my camera for direct lighting. Diffusion filter slides and covers up the lamp screen for a more diluted, soft effect. Cute carrying pouch protects my flash. Wicked portable light!

Good bargin
The amount of included accessories along with two batteries makes the Brave 4 a very good bargain when comparing the accessories for the price. Manual is adequate. I was able to download and use the AKASO DV app which appeared to be a slightly more polished version of the Camking app which is the app identified in the manual. I was able to change the default SSID but not the password. Overall, both apps worked adequately although there were time the video would not refresh on my phone. Sound quality was muffled and indoor color adjustment was very yellow in incandescent light. But this is an action cam and not expecting a whole lot of indoor use. Overall initial impression is good bargain camera.

Good alternative to a GO Pro
So far it seems to be a great alternative to a gopro. It is solidly built and comes with a plethera of accessories and mounting options. Batteries and charger.Will update after more use.Update 1:Did some shooting with it while on a ski trip. It takes some good video. the Helmet mount came off in the cold. Adhesive could be better on the double-sided tape. I'd love to see some hard hook and loop or heavy-duty velcro adhesive patches with it.Would I buy this camera again? YES, I would. Would I recommend this product? Absolutely. Will post some videos once I have a good edit done.

Works great, SO MANY accessories.
Took this powerboat tubing with family, good fun. Buttons on waterproof case can be hard to use, it takes some getting used to. So many features, I haven't learned to use them all yet. Very good unit, very good price. I especially like having 2 batteries from the start. And SO MANY accessories!Update: after a few uses over several months the camera no longer takes videos or still pictures. I think it's the image sensor. I've been in contact with Aksaso support and I'm sending it in to be replaced. I hope the second one lasts longer.

Quality just as good as a gropro for underwater vi
This is my second one of these in the last 5 years. I scuba dive often and dive both cold and warm waters, this camera does a great job. I shoot video at 720p 60fps and its amazing quality, my friends always ask "what gopro are you using". Its rated to 98 feet buuuuut I've taken it to 120+ on several occasions.You can download the SJCAM app to transfer photos and videos wirelessly or you can just transfer it from the card with a usb cable or card reader. I pop the card in my tablet after a dive and it plays with no special app needed. I will buy another in 5 years

Perfect for travel or limited Wi-Fi
We have wifi at the house but wanted something we could use in our RV while traveling. This works perfectly.Comprised of two units—the camera and monitoring device—both can be plugged into AC power, though only the monitoring unit is rechargeable. Which works well for us.Pictures and sound quality are very good. Quality seems decent. Battery life has been great on the monitor.What we like most about this system is the mobile functionality. It’s easy to pick up and move around where we need it and not have to worry about spotty wi-fi.We definitely recommend this monitoring device.

How to reset after battery change???
Picture quality is awesome....and I never had the range of night vision this camera has....motion detection settings have several ranges to choose from. I'm still working on what works best for my situation.However, I can't get any support from VikeriTech support...I had to put new batteries in and now its asking for a passcode, which I never set before!I have tried everything! Watched all the videos on you tube, nothing....read the whole online manual as I lost mine.I just want to see the deer in my driveway again!!!
