Nice, capable camera
This camera is a near carbon-copy of one I bought in early 2020 from a different brand. That's OK because I like that camera, just odd that this one is the same or nearly the same.What I like about these cameras is the nighttime quality and the fact that the timer actually works. So many of the cameras on Amazon have faulty timers which record all day despite being to record only at certain preset hours.While these cameras take 8 AA batteries, they can run on just four which is nice for pulling batteries to recharge without having a camera "down."The documentation warns against use of rechargeable NiMH batteries because of their lower voltage (~1.2 v nominal vs ~1.5 v nominal with alkaline) but I haven't had any problems so far. When powered by rechargeable batteries, the cameras don't last quite as long before needing to be recharged. My cameras are "on" for at least a week at a time with the timer set to record at night, roughly 10-12 hours. A minimum one week per charge is fine by me.I'm happy with this camera and will provide an update if I run into anything.
