Won't know about battery life instil it's used, sturdiness seems fine but only time will tell

Amazon has five highly rated battery operated LED piano lights that I was evaluating. Since I could not decide on which one to buy without looking at each one in person, I decided to order all five of them. I evaluated the Vekkia model, as well as the Kootek Clip-On 10 LED, the Maestro Gear 10 LED, the Long Beach Music 10 LED and the Lumiens L9 with 9 LED bulbs. I found that all but the Maestro were almost identical in design, function and look. The Maestro has two arms which can be adjusted, but I found this feature to be of little use and not a show stopper. All of the brands came with included batteries and charger, with the exception of the Vekkia, which only came with non-removable batteries and no charger (you charge this model with a regular cell phone charger). All models, except the Vekkia has the light power button on top of the battery compartment on clip, which made it inconvenient to operate when sheet music is in front of it. The Vekkia model has the power button on top of the light shade, which made it very easy to access, even with sheet music or a music book in front of the light. The Vekkia is the only model that has a downward rear extended light shade to eliminate any spurious light to be cast toward the audience or other performing members. All models have at least two light intensity settings. The Vekkia has three light intensity settings and two light temperature settings. The light intensity on all of the models is adequate, but the Vekkia has the brightest and most light color versatility. After taking all factors into account, we decided on the Vekkia LED piano light. We have had the light now for some weeks and are glad that we chose this brand and model. We are very happy with the light and would highly recommend the Vekkia to anyone in need of a well-built, versatile and excellent priced piano light.

I didn't know what to expect with this lamp, but it is perfect for placing on our piano to light up the music. As a bonus, the head rotates so that it can also light up the room too. I love the different setting, soft to bright. EASY to get working- just plug in. Perfect! Seller great too- came fast!

Purchased for my wife to use at her piano. It was exactly what she was looking for and so far appears to be a great bargain. Easy to put together (three steps), easy to adjust the light options, light weight and plenty of light. Very happy with the purchase.

What a find. Love the fact that it can be moved to any location. I have a piano but the lighting was to poor to be able to read music. No problem now. LOVE IT. Have given several as gift's and everyone that received it was more than pleased. Would recommend.

This is a great lamp. I have two of them. The brightest mode is wonderful for reading. I use it on bright for reading music while playing piano. The lowest is still great for reading without bothering others. It does not take up a lot of space on a desk.

This was a gift for my nephew who plays the piano. Sometimes he needs more light on his sheet music when he plays in a darkish corner of a venue and he said this stand light is perfect. It's light weight, small & brightness adjustable.

I am a church musician. in October I developed wet macular degeneration. My Doctor said I should find something to add light to my piano. This light does the trick it is perfect. I can see again!! Thank You!!!
