I definitely recommend the AKASO V50. I have used several generations of GoPros and the V50 Elite has the same quality for less than half the price. The customer service at AKASO was extremely helpful and very quick to respond to a warranty issue. I would buy this camera again as new generations come out.

Everything is decent quality and it includes a lot, the carrying case is quite large. and everything holds up.

This set comes in identical packages that you see for GoPro but the storage carton is actually nicer. There is very little by way of paper instructions in the box for first time users or beginners for setting up your camera even how yo removed it and whether the top clamp On the box is functional or how the different clamps are functional and can be removed or set up. they have a very nice download manual which is great... but they don’t explain any of the clamor pads or how to use them- they expect you to know it.That being said their explanations of the actual camera functions are clear simple and easy to follow.Their online application Akaso DV is not so easy or functional but with a little extra on line research you get there in the end.The main point is the camera. I had a go pro and this is lighter,simpler, and quite a good deal for the cost.My big complaint is they sent the wrong sSD card in the set so I couldn’t use it and had to rush out hours before the trip to find a substitute. Also, they don’t explain why the recommended SD card is preferable to others so it’s difficult when the order is wrong.The same goes with the accessories and snorkel mask I bought from them- they just don’t give you adequate information to kickstart you from the get go so it sort of dampens your enthusiasm. If you know all of that or are an action camera aficionado you will not be disappointed- are the pictures the same clarity? No but they are quite good for 500 dollars USA less! And think how clear is an amateur in the beginning anyway? Go for it!

A very nice little camera at a reasonable price. While it may not have the image quality or all of the bells and whistles of units costing $300 or more, it does a great job for anyone on a budget. it comes with an amazing assortment of accessories in the really convenient carrying case. What I really liked was that it also came with two (2) batteries and dual battery charger!! …. Most of the time you get just one and need to buy additional battery packs. Image stabilization isn't great, but hey.... I've got an action camera for under $70 CAD and I'm happy with it.

Presa per un regalo qualche settimana fa. Buona la qualità del video, meglio quella della fotocamera, anche in ambienti poco illuminati. Ha una buona stabilità dell'immagine e video e il trasferimento dei file è rapido. Provata anche l'impermeabilità della camera, decisamente buona. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.
