Great upgrade for your gaming setup
Plenty of storage + affordable + plug-and-play simplicity = a great buy!If you are tired of constantly having to delete and re-download large games because your 500GB internal storage just isn't cutting it, then you need this! We have horrible download speeds at my house, so being able to store all of my large game files without having to download them for hours every time I want to play has been a game changer (no pun intended). No more shuffling large games around on your internal hard drive! Just plug this sucker in, download your games, and never think about it again!

Out of box, plugged in to xbox and worked immediat
Simple and easy to install. True no brainer. The xbox even allocated as one drive along with the internal storage bringing the total storage to just 17% used.Pros:Very sturdyEasy to installFAST loading games!

It's physically tiny and wonderful!
I bought this HDD for my mother and she loves it.I've also used and tested it several times and I must say it performs great!Important to note my mother is not a gamer and is only using it for regular file unloads and computer backups.Since it won't be used for gaming my testing consisted of me moving several hundred gigs of files back and forth and streaming both music and movies directly off the drive while these transfers were simultaneously going on. I did not test its performance from a gamer's perspective but I did put it through my own gauntlet and it did remarkably well.Read and write speeds are true to specifications. The drive does stay significantly cooler than my other WD HDDs.I do highly recommend this product and I do plan to buy the 5TB variant for myself soon.PS I do buy separate cases for all my external HDDs you should carefully note the dimensions of this drive if you shop for a case because this drive is super thin and several milimeters wider than past WD products. Super easy install for ps4
After formatting I only had 1.84tb but for the price it's awesome. Only took about 30 seconds to get working. Comes with everything needed to extend your storage space on ps4.

Amazing buy
