This monocular telescope is very easy to use and takes great pictures. it is durable enough so children can use it without damaging the optics. Excellent family option for a small telescope.

We're so happy with our Viajero monocular telescope. It's so easy to use and the image is so vividly clear. The phone adaptor is easy to use and will be using it as a monitor and taking pictures. We also will be using it when we go target shooting and watching the bullet hit the target with the Viajero connected to my phone screen.

Although this Monocular is a bit more expensive than most of the others, it is very well made and comfortable to use with a wide field of view and very precise focus. The views are clear and bright. When I do not have time to set up and align my telescope, I use this to look at the moon, large star clusters and constellations. We also use it for a quick close up view from our boat. I love that you can hold it and focus it with one hand! I had a cell phone camera adapter that I can use for my telescope, and it fits the eye cup on this perfectly. This can be easily mounted on a standard tripod so you can use it for photography also. Very happy with this purchase!

The telescope arrived at my home about 30 minutes ago and I eagerly started to assemble the tripod and metal equatorial mount. The mount is cheap but it seems nice for the price point. I removed the telescope from the box and slipped it into the mount and tightened the dovetail down into the mount. Then I went to check collimation on the scope and that is where the big issue was discovered. The focuser is a cheap, plastic, wiggling piece of junk. When the focusing knob is turned the entire eyepiece focusing tube shifts inside of the focuser base. There is NO WAY that this telescope can hold anything like a decent sight picture/focus/collimation with the focuser that is included in the telescope. The focuser tube shifts so much that it makes the secondary mirror look like it has fractures in the mirror so I removed the collimation tool to verify the secondary mirror wasn't a bunch of glass shards-it wasn't fracture. I ordered a new metal focuser to replace the one that came on the telescope. After several months I am upgrading my review to 4 stars. It’s a cheap telescope with a cheap focuser but for the price, it’s a decent telescope.

This easy to use light weight monocular telescope is perfect for any nature lover! It’s easy to adjust and provides the user with a crisp sharp image. Works great with my iPhone as well! Could not be be happier with the construction and quality of this product!

This is a decent telescope for a child or beginner. We’ve gotten nice views of the moon during the recent lunar eclipse. The tripod is very wobbly, and the scope itself is tricky to adjust; even trying to focus the scope can shift the eyepiece from what you are aiming at.

Very happy with the overall quality and the view clarity through this telescope. It has helpful instructions and easy setup. I’m using included tripod as stabilizer/holder in my hand, but also tried on the flat surface and it worked great - was able to hold both - monocular telescope and phone. Smart phone holder/adapter has strong grip - very easy to adjust to different sizes of phones (I’m using iPhone X and iPhone 13 Pro Max). Excited to try it at concerts, as it’s pretty compact and easy in use.

This telescope is easy to use, assemble, and find objects in the sky. The finder scope allows you to quickly find what you are looking for. The StarSense app is also useful to help locate viewable objects according to location. Although I am very happy with the telescope's performance, the tripod doesn't seem stable enough to hold the telescope steady when the cellphone adapter is hooked up. It makes the scope too heavy and pulls it down even when the attachments are tightened completely. Overall, I would recommend the telescope, but you may need to hold it steady when trying to take pictures and view through your phone if you have the adapter, which can be frustrating.
