Is it best to use these dry or wet?

The kit comes with cleaning fluid and is meant to be used wet to remove debris stuck on the sensor. They can also be used dry, but will probably only be effective at removing dust particles. If you are using them dry I would try cleaning with a Rocket Blower using only air first.

These are best used wet, to help remove any oils from the sensor, along with more easily picking up dust that is clinging to the sensor by static charge.
