My friend and I have been running a YouTube channel for a few years now and have also become semi-self-employed through it. We produce content for companies and have now assembled quite a bit of equipment. When it comes to ND filters, we've previously been in the budget segment and tended to rely on fixed filters, as we haven't heard much good about the inexpensive variable filters.

We now use square filters with a matte box for larger productions. But especially for smaller jobs where we need a lot of flexibility, we rely 100% on the Nano-X Pro. It covers exactly the range we need. The optical quality of the images is truly excellent, and there's simply no distortion whatsoever. Sometimes we use an adapter for square filters after the Pro ND. This works because the Nano-X Pro has a thread into which you can screw additional filters.

So, theoretically, it's even possible to use it in conjunction with a matte box and a rectangular filter. The possibilities are very diverse.

I can only admire the workmanship; it's simply magnificent. As soon as I unpacked it, I had the feeling I was holding a superbly high-quality product in my hands. The workmanship is flawless, and the case conveys an equally high-quality impression. Adjusting the filter is very smooth, and so far, the filter hasn't been jammed once.

I can recommend it without hesitation. Anyone who makes the admittedly quite substantial investment will be rewarded with quality and imagery that definitely justifies the price. Anyone who claims that a cheaper filter can achieve the same thing in this regard hasn't yet delved into the subject in detail.

First of all, I have to say that you are getting an incredibly well-designed product, which is already evident in the packaging. It is very high-quality and attractively designed, giving you the feeling that you are getting a quality product. The storage bag with a magnetic closure is a really nice bonus, one that you don't often get in this quality. A simple loop on the side allows you to slide the filter up and out of the bag.
Another very nice and clever idea is that you can reuse the packaging's inlay as a small picture frame. A small cardboard sheet for folding is included, which also has the quick folding instructions printed on it. This essentially creates a small stand that can be glued directly to the back of the inlay. The small, yet somehow stylish picture frame is finished

I've known K&F for a while now and own a few of their products (UV filters and camera backpacks). For me, the brand has always offered good value for money and is more in the mid-range price segment.
Now, however, they're looking to take things to the next level and are moving into the high-end segment.

An ND filter reduces incoming light. This filter can be adjusted from ND2 to ND32. This makes it ideal for long exposures and for "artificially" extending them. This allows for beautiful, soft gradients, especially with moving scenes like rivers, waterfalls, traffic, and other subjects.

The filter comes beautifully packaged and is a real joy to unpack. If you love unboxing, you'll really enjoy this.

The filter comes in a fabric/leather bag. It's very nice in itself, but in my opinion, a filter sits more securely in the familiar plastic cases.

The inside of the packaging can be converted into a "picture frame." It's a funny idea, but I think there are nicer ones.

But let's get to the filter itself. Here I have to say that the performance matches the price. Impeccable workmanship, both in the filter thread, ring, and glass.
The filter is easy and smooth to screw on and off, which is indistinguishable from cheap filters.
The glass is of the highest quality, and its optical performance is indistinguishable from that of other ND filters from well-known competitors.
This gives you a uniform darkening across the entire image and steps without any loss of quality or color cast.

So, all in all, a very good filter in terms of its quality and optical performance. Its weak points are the somewhat loose attachment in the storage bag.

This might be one of the better qulity ND filters that I ever used. I picked 72mm ND filter for my 85mm lens where it suits and works perfectly and also Im using it on my 17-28mm lens that has diameter of 67mm, so i use it together with stepup ring. Here I must say, it does make little vignette at 17-19mm, it goes away at 20mm. But this might be the case due to stepup ring, can't say about experience without stepup ring on this wide lens. This is not yhe case on my 85mm lens. Weight of this ND filter is on a heavier side, which gives it really premium feel so does the glass quality, which is real glass of course.

Overall I'm more then satiafied with this filter and I can recommend it.

ND filters (neutral density filters) are essentially used to darken the image. It's important that the light spectrum isn't distorted too much in one direction. K&F has done a really good job of this. I own several filters and other K&F brand products. The quality is absolutely top-notch, even for filters in the low-price segment.

I tested this filter with a 67 mm thread on a Nikon Z30. The fit on the lens is naturally really good. The intensity of the neutral density filter can be adjusted by turning it. This happens very smoothly, and there's no scratching noise at all. The grips are very nice, as they protect the lens when adjusting the filter.

I tested this filter in November. In my area, it's rare to find a cloudless, fog-free day at this time of year. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck taking good photos outdoors. My assessment so far is still impressive.

I give this well-thought-out product a full 5 stars. The filter also comes with a really good case.

I've extensively tested this "K&F Concept Nano-X PRO ND Filter 67mm Variable Neutral Density Filter ND2-32 (1-5 Stop)" with my two 67mm Sony lenses (85mm + 24mm focal length) and would like to share my experience today:

I find the packaging of the filter appealing, as K&F has packaged this "Pro" filter very high-quality. It comes with a leather case with soft lining for storing the filter. A cleaning cloth is also included. The case has a magnetic closure and is very well made all around.

The filter itself is also very well made; it has a brass frame with easy-to-read markings for the individual "stops" from 1-5. Rotating the filter is smooth, but not too light. I also like the fact that two "handles" were installed for turning or adjusting the filter, which makes adjustment even easier and more convenient. There's no resistance at the individual stops, so you have to look carefully to see where you're turning the filter. Especially at stops 4 and 5, there's not much space between them, which requires careful observation. The individual stops also mark the aperture stops that you reduce with this filter. If you select stop 3, for example, you reduce the light by 3 aperture stops, which allows you to achieve beautiful results with longer exposure times, especially in landscape photography. A variable ND filter like this is also helpful in videography, allowing you to respond to different lighting conditions without having to change individual filters.

The variable filter screws seamlessly onto both of my lenses. The filter also doesn't add too much bulk to the lens. The filter has a 36-layer nano-coating on both sides, making it waterproof, dirt-resistant, and scratch-resistant. The coating makes the filter robust, and I expect it to be durable, allowing me to take photos or videos with it for a long time.

I've already used the filter to take landscape photos, and I'm very satisfied with the image quality. I haven't noticed any optical impairment when using the filter, even with my 24mm wide-angle lens.

I've broken down my review into reasons for purchase, first impressions, product testing, suggestions for improvement, tips, and conclusion. I hope this helps with clarity.

I received the product for free as a Vine product tester, but this doesn't affect my rating. I also only test things that I can use myself and integrate into my everyday life.

Reason for purchase:
I ordered this filter for two reasons. The first is that when I want to travel light, I don't want to carry my entire clip-on filter system with me. The second is that I can use it well in videography, where I mostly film according to the 180-degree rule. This means that to achieve a cinematic video image with a certain amount of motion blur in the individual frames, you film with a shutter speed of 1/fps x 2. For example, if I film at 50fps, I need an exposure time of 1/100th of a second, which is impossible to achieve without an ND filter, especially in the wide-angle range in sunny conditions.

First impression:
The packaging looks very classy, ​​but it certainly has a right to be, considering the price of the filter. The filter is housed in an equally attractive and high-quality filter pouch, something I've never seen before in this form for round filters. The flap on the side allows you to lift the filter to prevent accidentally touching the glass when removing it. The pouch has a magnetic closure. A nice gimmick is that the filter's cardboard box can be transformed into a small picture frame.

Product test:
The filter feels fantastic to the touch, heavy (91g) and easy to grip. I also really like the color-contrasting adjustment aids. These are removable if you still want to use a lens hood. You need a small micro-Torx wrench, e.g., from a precision mechanic's set. Adjusting the filter is buttery smooth across all settings.

In our test, the filter showed no weaknesses. I didn't notice any color cast, and there was no X-cross effect. The promised effect of up to 5 f-stops is maintained. Technically, it's perfect, and that's the most important aspect of an ND filter.

Suggestions for improvement:
1. The sustainability aspect, as reflected in the use of cardboard as a picture frame, could also be reflected in the filter bag by avoiding the use of animal products (leather).

2. An 82mm version would be desirable and recommended, as this would allow the filter to be used on my 24-70mm/2.8, for example.

Tips:
It's always advisable to buy such a filter in the largest possible diameter so that you can adapt it to as many lenses in your fleet as possible using step-down rings. However, this would also eliminate the option of continuing to use a lens hood.

Conclusion:
A technically perfect filter in the higher price segment.
