Amazing Telescope
I have been searching for the best telescope that I could see deep space and look at stuff in our solar system. I saw a review video about this and after searching we got this telescope. It’s hands down easy to put together (watch a video it’s super easy, the instructions were a bit confusing) and recommend getting filters and a 90* instead of the 45* but overall this telescope will last for years. Recommend getting a extra long telescope bag as the tripod doesn’t fit in the normal size bags for protection when storing or traveling. Once you put it up once it’ doesn’t take long to set up or take down. The tripod is sturdy and the telescope feels like it’s well made and built to last.

Excellent!!
Without tripod please don’t use it.. it needs strong hold and support. Definitely not for beginners. Worth the money you spend if you don’t want to buy telescope.

Perfect for my 8 year old
My 8 year old was able to assemble this on his own. He loves the adjustable tripod and can easily move the telescope anywhere in our yard as he searches for stars and planets.

Good telecope!
Bought this as a replacement for my friend's telescope. I borrowed this exact telescope from my friend, and he already misplaced the tripod for it, and I borrowed it for a while and lost some of the pieces for it. Instead of buying the separate replacement pieces for it, I decided it was cheaper to just buy a new telescope all together.It seems to work just fine, my friend has posted of photos of it being used, staring at the moon.and I briefly used it despite it not having a tripod. It's good quality for it's price and convenience.

good telescope
Telescope is great. It is easy to learn the goto remote and aligning it if you practice a little with it. Only bad thing is the tripod shakes alittle when focusing the scope. Other than that for a beginner i highly recommend it. You can see jupiter's moons and color bands, saturn and its rings and the orion nebula looks awesome in this telescope.

Really good value gift
Really good value gift.The 70mm refractor telescope is compact, lightweight, and with such a travel design, it's easy to transport and store away. This telescope is a nice choice for entry-level astronomers, and it's easy to intall.Another point for this product is the 5×24 finder scope because it makes finding tiny objects much easier. The 70mm telescope is a complete package, and it comes with a manual, tripod, eyepiece, 2 x map of the moon & star,finder scope and optics tube.

The telescope has a good image
The telescope does not distort magnified celestial objects. Good optics. This telescope is best used for beginners. You may not know at all where a star or planet is in the sky. The telescope will find it for you. But it is very important to set up the telescope correctly. It takes sensitivity and time. It is imperative to set the level. It is very important to set up the star pointer correctly. It is not very convenient to configure it. If you misalign the star pointer, the telescope will find you a dark sky, not the object you want to see. The hand control screen is small. Very often words and letters overlap and it is impossible to read the words. The tripod is short. An adult has to kneel when looking overhead.

... unsure about buying this after readying dome o
I was very unsure about buying this after readying dome of the bad reviews I ready...I bought this as a gift for a 10 yr old boy as his first telescope. I opened it up to make sure everything worked (I was really worried that that tripod was going to be too flimsy after reading reviews!) When I first set it up and got everything attached, sure enough, the base on the tripod for the telescope didnt keep the teliscope up at all!!...BUT after a looking at the tripod deisign and messing with a few screws I got it figured out, and it works like a charm!! The "Handle" on the tripod can be used to adjust the position of the telescope....twist to the left for easy movement, and then to the right when you want to secure it in place! I'm not a teliscope expert, but for a first telescope, I think this is great! Looking at the moon was mesmerizing with this :) I gave it 4stars because I used to have a high quality scope, and as expected, this hardly compares....but for basic use, I see no issues with this!
