Super Easy Set Up on Mac
I purchased this camera to compensate for a glitch in a recent OS update, wherein sometimes the on-board camera came on for Face Time and Photo Booth, and sometimes it didn't. When the Nexigo camera arrived, all I had to do was plug in the USB cable, and my Mac recognized it immediately. Then all I needed to do was tell those two programs to use the Nexigo camera instead of the on-board camera. It has worked great for the last two weeks.I think the biggest plus (or minus!) is the picture quality. It is much, much better. The image is brighter and clearer with the Nexigo camera. Yep, you can see every little wrinkle, line and imperfection... hmm. Thanks a lot, Nexigo.
