Decent alternative.
This camera is a solid lower cost option to GoPro. The biggest feature they could add to this camera to edge it to a level closer to GoPro would be one touch recording. If they added that and improved the battery life it would be closer to GoPro.As far as a direct comparison, the GoPro wins easily. Picture quality, sound, battery life, ease of use, and features all go to GoPro. That said, at the price point of the AKASO it's a solid alternative or something to get you started. I use the AKASO in situations where I want to protect my GoPro but still get a shot.
