Such a fantastic microphone! I was doubtful when I saw the price and size, but i saw positive reviews and I decided that I could use it for video chatting if I couldn't use it for recording my songs.But today it arrived and I was shocked again by size, it fits easily in the palm of my hand! And I was blown away by the quality of the mic. I just plugged it into my macbook pro, switched it to the cardiod setting, and it was fantastic! It took me about a minute to figure out how far I had to be when I belted out my loudest, and it was SO FANTASTIC!! I can honestly say that if I were to properly mix instruments with my vocals on this mic it would sound extraordinarily professional, it sounds like it was done in a professional studio.The area I was in was acoustically friendly, so that might've helped. I was in my carpeted basement, and directly to the back of me was a relatively thick curtain (bookcase behind it although that doesnt really matter) and I used a pop filter, and that definitely helped.For anyone looking to record vocals, I would highly recommend this microphone, but you definitely want to buy a pop filter with it ( i bought this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008AOH1O6/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2) if you want to get maximum results, along with being in an acoustic friendly environment. It doesnt have to be fancy or anything, but you can look on google for ways to get a good environment for recording.I LOVE MY MIC!!! I have yet to try it with my instruments, but I've seen a couple videos of someone using guitar and piano and I was impressed and I don't doubt that it'll work fantastically!

Okay if you want to use the microphone on this, it isn't good, and I don't recommend it. Picture quality wise, it's not amazing, but very functional, reasonably clear. It's not overly nice, but it's great for it's price. I only use it to talk with friends on Discord with a camera, and I don't do it all that often. For that reason, why would I want a more than 40$ webcam? This one does the job, and I recommend it. For conference calls, working from home, talking with friends, this is the one to go. If you're needing outstanding picture quality, bigger fields of view, and more features look elsewhere. I also never recommend webcams having good microphones, buy a separate mic or headset to go with the webcam. It makes no sense to bundle those two together.

So I bought this camera to mount on my mustang gt for some gooood driving if you know what I mean.didn’t want to spend 400 on a go pro so I looked at different action cameras and the AKASO v50x took the W vs others and including go pro. For the price you pay for this camera it’s completely worth it especially it having 4K and a good image stabilizer. But would say get the externals microphone they sell because the the internal one is not good. If you want it just for the video and your gonna edit some music into it without needing the audio from the camera then this camera is a must especially for the price your gonna pay and it also comes with different mounts and attachments that would cost you an arm and a legs with go pro.can also be used as a dash cam. Definitely a 5 star from me.

 I use this product to record videos and take pictures of my daughter's 12U baseball team. The picture included is taken at 8 megapixels and the associated video is the same to give you an idea of the quality. I save the footage to my google drive and give out the sharing link. It's a great way for out of town family members to watch the game. (Please note it is not livestreaming.)The microphone picks up a decent amount of wind noise if there is a breeze. If you are using it like I do, you will want a couple of small bungee cords or tie wraps to position it on the chain link fence correctly. It does require some attention. The camera footage has a tendency to freeze around the 8 minute mark at times, but I usually pop up and check it every other batter and stop recording in between innings.

 For the price I am thoroughly impressed and was expecting lower performance. Pictures are clear and detailed and videos are also nice. The microphone surprisingly manages to record decent audio from within the waterproof case aswell. I used the camera for about 5 hours almost uninterrupted and only swapped out batteries once and never did it overheat and my second battery didnt die until the end of our paddling trip (10 miles recording at 1080p 60fps for almost 5hrs and taking close to 30 pictures at 20mp). I did my homework before buying this camera and compared it with other options here on amazon overall I am very happy with my purchase!P.S. The video quality is actually better than it looks here on Amazon. The video seems to have degraded when I uploaded it to the website for the review.

I have to say, I read the reviews and didn't know how much value I would actually get for an action camera that was under $100. However, upon purchasing I'm so glad I did!Pros: Very affordable. Great daytime picture quality. Many features and customizable settings (and easy to use). Loads of mounts for different types of jobs. Two batteries instead of one. Decent image stabilization.Cons: Lower lowlight picture quality. No SD card. Waterproof case blocks the microphone and reduces the sound quality drastically (as expected). Hard to remove the back of the waterproof case to replace with non-water proof case.All in all for what I spent this was a great purchase and I would recommend this camera if you are looking for an affordable action camera that can actually go toe to toe with a go pro!

If you want a beginner budget action cam this one is great! It has a good picture quality has a good set of starting accessories and has the option of external sound microphone. The material quality is fine, but there is maybe some improvement that can be made as my waterproof case is cracked and I'm not going to trust that underwater. I havent decided what I want to do with this product yet. But if you are looking for a budget option of a go pro, this is a great option. Its maybe 80% of a gopro at 30% of the price.Edit: also tried the v50 pro se, and think its overall a small upgrade to the v50 pro but unfortunately at a much higher price. The v50 pro se is a great product, an upgrade over the v50 pro but an average value.Someone looking for the best can shoot for the v50se but the budget focused buyer is best off settling for the v50 pro.

NIGHT LIGHT SHOT IN THE SNOW! This is a great alternative to the much higher priced GoPro. The video quality is excellent. It came with lots of accessories. Two batteries and a charger. I've had mine now for a few weeks and I've been thoroughly impressed with all of its capabilities and features. The quality is great and shoots very smooth in 4K. The V50's biggest feature for me is the ability to record in 4K30 with the different angle of views with EIS on!Would highly recommend this camera as an add on to your photo/video arsenal. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this camera/company. I have owned other brands, including GoPro, and the bang for your buck is definitely here. I have not yet had the opportunity to fully test the external microphone capabilities. Great item! Thanks! Overall great Quality camera that's worth the money!
