Very pleased with cleaning of Sony NEX 5N sensor.
After blowing out the dust as best I could with a rocket bulb, I used mostly dry swabs (6 in total) to clean, I put the fluid on one of them (after seeing that dry swabs alone were not going to do the trick). I didn't notice any film on the sensor after using the wet swab. I have to admit that I got a little aggressive with the cleaning and even rubbed a particularly smudged part of the sensor with the swab. Undoubtedly a no no, but it worked great. You can see from the photo (sorry about the shadow in the top image) that the sensor really cleaned up nicely. I actually did one final round and got rid of the small dust particle you see on the bottom left of the "after" photo. I was going to use that photo, but it looked to unbelievably perfect, so figured I'd show the penultimate photo to demonstrate that I really did shoot the test photos using a white background at f22. The sky shot at the end came out great. I'm glad I bought this kit.
