We love this monitor; it almost the size of a cellphone. Sleek and modern design and fits in your pocket. One of the most important factor for us was the long range and this device works great from different floors of the house. The zoom lens really make it better. Make sure you use it! So far, it can be considered an upgrade from our previous Motorola baby monitor.

I bought this lens for the occasional wildlife or celestial event event photography. I was amazed at how light it is, very easy to carry all day long. The AF was faster than I expected (I am using it with an R6). Images are sharp and have good contrast.I was able to shoot a good amount into dusk before things got too dark, so the fixed f/11 is really not an issue.I do think weather sealing is a necessity, however. This will be used outside, almost exclusively, so a lack of weather sealing is a bit concerning

I took it hiking. Amazing quality and speed on my 20d. Be careful, very heavy!

It was a difficult choice between this and the 85mm. I was afraid I'd not have enough room for indoor shots in smaller places to back away from the subject if I went with the 85, so I opted for this. But now that I have it, I find that I sometimes have to get a little closer to the subject than I'd prefer. Maybe I need both. The lens provides beautiful background blur. Using with a Rebel T1i

I like the size of it! It's small and perfect for holiday/everyday use.Some reviews on web complained about the AF speed.I agree but I use MF so it did not bother me much, but problem arise when someone who is not familiar with MF using my lovely camera. Some of my holiday pictures were blurred...
