It's a great camera for it's price point
The AKASO action camera is great for it's price, but could be better compared to a GoPro, it's color, quality, and image stabilization isn't as good as a GoPro, any of GoPro's lineup would be better than the AKASO Brave 7. I would recommend a GoPro over this camera, but if you are tight on a budget then I would get the AKASO.

Buy This Over GoPro
Excellent action camera, I use it on my QAV-R racing drone. This has better video/picture than the GoPro Session Cube I had, so I sold the GoPro. Excellent purchase.

Way more worth the money than GoPro
I purchased this along with a new GoPro to see if it was comparable. Ended up returning the GoPro and keeping the AKASO because the battery life was far superior and image quality was decent enough for an action camera, especially for less than 1/3 the price of the big name. I'd rather have 3 of these and get multiple angle action shots than have 1 gopro that dies in 30minutes,

Cheaper and smaller than a GoPro.
No SD card to fumble around with but also less storage space. Decent video quality, decent record time. Its ready to go out of the box, unless you need special mounts but otherwise it works
