Not Perfect, But Pretty Good
I got this adapter to adapt my Nikon AI-S lenses onto my Nikon Z 7 since it is much cheaper than the FTZ adapter and these lenses do not require electronic contacts. One thing that I immediately noticed was that the Nikon Z lens cap did not fit snugly on the adapter, which led me to suspect that there might be some play when attached to the body.Sure enough, I attached it to the body and there was just the slightest bit of play between the adapter and the camera body (something not present at all with my FTZ adapter). It wasn't enough to get me concerned, but it would have been nice if it snugly with no movement at all.On the lens side, my Nikon 28mm f/2.8 AI-S fit snugly and there was no movement at all so no complaints on that end.I did, however, notice one odd issue that popped up on the Z 7 with both this adapter and the FTZ adapter. Neither adapter will display the aperture setting of the lens. That's annoying, but you can work around it. Something that might be a deal breaker, however, involves the camera body itself. As of right now, I cannot get a meter reading on the camera body with either lens. This is not to say that the meter does not work as I've found Aperture Priority Mode to be accurate, but I like to shoot in Manual Mode with the LIVE EFFECT setting off and this is simply not reasonable on the Z 7 right now unless you are going to "Sunny 16" it. So just know that as of this writing (unless there's some setting I'm missing in the menu), you will have to either shoot in an Automatic/Semi-Automatic mode or rely on the Live View exposure in your EVF (or your In-EVF Histogram) as your actual meter reading will disappear in all metering modes. This applies to both this adapter and the FTZ so it's just a camera thing at this point that you'll have to consider. The 1-Star off is really just for the play between the camera body and the adapter.

The camera is great but…
I was caught a little off guard that the charger sent was for the EU. I probably would have ordered from someone else, had I know this was the case.

Great camera!
This is picking up all the activity that our other camera was missing. I love that there is no "fish-eye" effect, and it doesn't seem to fog up like our first camera either (different brand). So far, we're really impressed!

Got this camera to see what types of wildlife visit when we aren't looking! Turns out we have a lot of deer, rabbits, and, of course, birds! We also appear to have a resident racoon that I'm still trying to get a better photo of - always seem to catch either his backside or just his tail.So enough about the wildlife - more about the camera. It takes really nice photos - and the night shots aren't bad either. the video is good too. A few things to note about the camera, though:1) it takes 8 AA batteries. I use NiMH rechargeables and just change them out (recharge) once a week when I check the camera.2) the max memory card size is 32GB- I bought a 64GB for it when I first got this and couldn't figure out why the camera wouldn't work - it didnt recognize the card! This is documented in the manual, but apparently I read over that part.3) the manual is fair but I found it could be a little bit more detailed on the instructions. Of course, I didn't read them all the way through like I should have when I first got the camera but I got the thing working good enough with the settings menu. The menu on the device for the settings is pretty simple, but don't be like me and not read through the manual first. I suggest you at least skim the manual as it does have the basic information you need in it.4) I seem to have trouble knowing if the thing is on or not once I get it set up. You just turn it on and trust that it is taking photos/videos.5) despite being set to the highest sensitivity, it still seems to be a little bit delayed before it takes a photo or starts a video clip.Bottom line though - i really like this camera and happy with the images it gets.bottom line is this is a simple but decent camera for getting pics of wildlife and other

Decent camera
We bought this camera after our desk top's camera failed. We need a camera to have video conversations with our children and grand children. Have not used it yet but it was an easy plug & play to set it up. The picture seems to be almost as good as the camera that came with the computer, but only used it in test mode.
