Best cheap variable ND
For the price this is a great nd filter, The only downside is that you get a slight green colour cast but nothing you can’t fix in post production, otherwise great filter.

The media could not be loaded.
It was a pleasant surprise that the diffusion retains so much sharpness. It creates very attractive, smoothed-out highlights without compromising detail elsewhere. The built-in variable ND filter is a nice convenience for video, and it has no defects that I've noticed

It did the trick but for you novices, NEVER ...
It did the trick but for you novices, NEVER and I mean NEVER use the maximum density unless you want a Cross hatch or an "X" burn pattern on the image I only use the first to about 3/4 of it's maximum setting, and you'll have some special photos. All variable ND filters suffer from this affect. if you really want some heavy duty filter spend a lot more for a straight ND filter.

Sehr gute variable ND Filter
Ich nutze das Freewell ND Filter Set nun seit mehreren Monaten und bin sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität. Kein Qualitätsverlust und keine nervigen Vignetten am Rand des Bildes. Kaufempfehlung!

does the job
I don't know if each filter is different...but the one I received worked pretty good. Almost every Variable nd filter will have some level of distortion...I didn't see much until I stopped way down. Not a bad bang for the buck...it does take a bit of time to screw on but no biggy iggy. ciao

Good but NOT Hard stop nd values!
I bought these because they advertise being hard stop nd filter " and eliminate guessing in the field". They are not. They stop at the max and min preventing full rotation and X pattern. But not at individual values.They are heavy and well built and just fine as a variable nd but do not have hard stops as each value.

Great bang for the buck
As far as being a variable ND it's pretty decent which for something that costs under 10 dollars is a lot to say and a fraction of the cost of anything with noticeably better image quality. So as something just to use occasionally, as part of a hobby, or to try out this kinda filter it's a no brainer.
