NOT glass. It's plastic. But a lot of good plastic at least.
We all know resin isn't the best way to go, it's not a long-term filter, but these resin filters are pretty transparent. Not shoddy for plastic. And if you take good care of these filters I can't see why they should last a long while. But you get A LOT of different NDs and colours, and half-and-halfs. If you're like me and prefer shooting with filters and avoid adjusting in post, then this set will be fun for ya to experiment with. SIDE NOTE: These filters are SMALLER THAN 100x100mm size, so they won't fit matte boxes and such. Only meant for the sized holders provided, which are pretty plasticy. Strong, but plasticy, and a super tight fit for the filters to go through the grooves, it's a bit bothersome to put on. But I very must like the metal adapter rings it comes with to fit any size lens. For plastic stuff for it's price, if you know that's what you're getting, expect to get good and very useable filters. And A LOT of them.
