The Must Have Camera Bag!
I'm somewhat of a camera nerd. Computer programmer by day, professional photographer by night and on the weekends. I currently own 2 different camera bags. Here's what I think.Pros:+ Excellent quality bag. Everything is just really nicely made. This bag is going to be able to put up with a lot of abuse.+ The price is just fantastic. I've seen bags like this going for over £100 easy.+ It has straps around the waist and chest and flaps that come out around your hips. If you strap these in tight it works well as a hiking bag. It sits on your hips and your shoulders making it easy to carry for long distances.+ There are pockets of all shapes and sizes for all of your gear and they all expand to allow you to shove stuff into them.+ The main pocket where the lenses are kept is very well protected. The padding around the lenses is velcro'd into place makes it really easy to adjust or remove the walls. The walls themselves are a dense foam that should protect them well. I was able to fit my Nikon D750, a Nikon 70-200 VR2, Sigma 35mm 1.4, Nikon 50mm 1.8, Tokina 16-28 2.8, and a Nikon flash into the main compartment. There was still room for another full size DSLR and small lens attached to the camera. The main compartment also has a netting that zips over the lenses to keep them from accidentally falling out. That's a really nice, well thought out feature.+ The main lens compartment has two dedicated areas for DSLRs with a small lens.+ There's a handle on top of the bag which is really substantial and makes it easy to carry.+ The rear flap contains a waterproof protector to throw over the bag if it rains. Nice touch.Neutral* It's not a heavy bag but it's also not light. Fully loaded with my gear it probably weighs a good 20-25 pounds. Without gear it weight about 4 pounds.Cons:- You need to take the bag completely off to get a lens out of it. The lens compartment opens on the inner side of the bag, the side touching your back when you wear it. I don't really think this is a bad thing but you should be aware of how that works and the limitations that come with the design they've chosen.- There's no dedicated space for a laptop although you might be able to slip a slim laptop and definitely a tablet into the rear compartment.Overall I think this is a fantastic camera bag for a great price. If you're looking for a well priced bag that you need to hold and protect 4-5 lenses + 1-2 DSLRs, flashes, and all your accessories, look no further. This bag is great one. 5 stars!
