Nice camera and what a great deal. I am pleased with this camera.

This camera is an upgrade from my previous model of Amcrest Camera (IP8M-2493EW). This camera was provided as part of a promotion from Amcrest. My camera setup includes a single Amcrest PoE camera, located on a detached garage, connected to an Amcrest NVR. The previous model was also an 8MP 4K camera.The overall video quality, even in standard definition, was significantly better than the previous model mentioned. The video image was very clear, especially in dark conditions and when utilizing night vision mode. The camera has a single infrared light, which seems to have a longer reach, and fills the field more fully than my previous model. The camera also has a built in microphone, and the audio quality is good.The camera and infrared light are housed in a sealed metal housing, rather than inside a glass done. Adjusting the direction of the camera is made by loosening a single set-screw. The adjustments are much easier to make than a glass dome camera, but I am a little leery of securing the angle of the camera with a single screw. It does however appear to hold position well, even when physical force is applied.If you are replacing a previous Amcrest camera, the mounting-hole pattern of this camera did not match my previous Amcrest camera.Overall I would recommend this camera as an excellent and inexpensive option for a PoE camera. The camera is easy to setup and fairly easy to connect to an Amcrest NVR. Amcrest has a wide variety of software that the camera can be accessed through. Not all of the software is setup the same, and not all options exist in each software. This can make tweaking setting complicated at times, and the manuals provided by Amcrest are not always helpful.

This camera works great. I was looking for a camera to keep an eye on my driveway and front door at night and this camera does a great job. The low light camera quality is excellent and daytime is even better. The camera has a motion detector that sends a email and alerts to the app on my phone whenever there is something moving around. Installation was just one screw and then the camera attaches to the mount by a magnet, couldn't be easier.

Great camera, the video quality is a bit grainy, but great camera otherwise.

 I bought the camera for public land because of the price that way I would not cry if it got stolenThe camera does better at night time then in day time when it comes to picture and video qualitythe camera is simple to set up a cave man could do it. also i put the camera to close to a creek and some heavyrains came and the camera was under water until the creek levels went back to normal and the camera still worked and I still use that same camera

this camera is changing the action camera industry for sure 4k 30 I will take it!!
