Top notch quality sound, easy to pair. I had bought a UE Boom 2 for my daughters a couple of years ago, which has been used a tonne. Since the eldest will be off to college this year, a UE Boom 3 was a Christmas present for my youngest. The blue speaker is a super cool looking colour! There is no problem getting joined with the UE Boom 2.

great bluetooth speaker. the sound is not 360 degr
i did not order an open box but i received an open box product.... as for the product itself if you comparing with the UE Boom. This speaker is cheaper , smaller and sound is not wider enough (not 360 degree) but the sound quality is ok. Maybe 8x-9x % of the sound quality of the UE boom. but this speaker is much cheaper then UE boom.. so, if you are not use it in a open area but just to replace your computer speaker then this speak is good choice.
