Love it!
Works great, fit is fantastic both on the camera body as well as on the lens I have. There is a tiny amount of play, but has no impact when in use.

Ok but not great
Everything seemed to work well except the monopod. It would not tighten down and continued to turn. Therefore I just used the underwater holder and it worked much better.

Sturdy, Great Height and Ability to Position, Plus
I got the best picture I have ever taken using the monopod part of this sturdy tripod. The picture was a long exposure of a waterfall. This tripod is sturdy but weighs quite a bit for me to pack as a rather small woman. One of the many neat features of this tripod is one leg (it's identified) can be taken off and used with the center piece as a monopod. The monopod I'm willing to tote on a hike. The monopod gave me the stability I needed for get the picture without any shake. It was fairly easy to get the pieces back in place when I returned. This tripod does extend really high which is helpful when shooting over fences such as those put up to keep the public safely back. I like the idea of using this tripod better than taking along a ladder which I've seen some photographers use for abandoned buildings and ruins. Although I haven't made full use of the range of positions this tripod permits, I like its availability. I also like how secure my camera feels on the tripod. This comes with a carrying case so when it's not in use, this tripod doesn't take up much room. My rating is 5 stars because of the sturdiness and I love being able to also use this as a monopod.

Excellent for astronomy
The 4.4 field of view is excellent for astronomy. I attached a monopod camera mount to it which makes it much easier to hold and maneuver while scanning the night sky.

Alot better than expect
Small enough to use for mini cam on monopod with video cam on top of it Don't like the plastic locking nut, but love the clamp's material ( SS / al)

Cheap and Weak, but Decent Customer Service
Horrible monopod. This one was fragile. I almost lost my GoPro at Niagara Falls. The monopod was broken, and I dropped my GoPro.I did not have a chance to test other included things. However, not sure if I am going to use them. So disappointing.-----I updated the star from one to four for their customer care service after the happening. Their response to customer complaints was quick and reliable.

Good value for $$
I needed a ball head with friction control for my heavy telephoto lens with a monopod. This works perfectly. I've been happy with other Vanguard products, too.

Great value for price
This are great for pulling things close in.They're right on the edge of what you can hand hold and still see things without too much shaking. Anything more powerful would need a monopod or tripod to use. Thought about the 20x80 for a hot second. Glad I didn't since I think I'd pretty much have to have a monopod or tripod to use the 20x80 at all.On a tripod, these are even better.Great performance for the prices

works just fine
it worked correctly. no problems. the headband used in top of a helmet so no need to use the sticky things and put in the rented helmet for the event. the monopod works fine, no problems there...
