NP-F970 batteries are one of the most widely used battery formats in photo and video work. They’re commonly used for lights, monitors, and external recorders, and they follow the Sony-style NP-F system.
The 970 size is a great middle ground. It offers solid capacity without becoming too heavy—especially important if you’re mounting it on top of a camera. Anything larger can make your setup feel top-heavy, so this size hits a nice balance between power and usability.
This kit is an excellent value. You get two batteries and a dual charger for around $60, which breaks down to about $30 per battery. That’s a great price, especially considering the performance.
In real-world use, these perform just as well as my Sony NP-F970 batteries. Fit, build, and compatibility are all spot on—they work perfectly with any gear that accepts NP-F batteries, including camcorders, lights, and monitors.
K&F Concept has been consistently putting out high-quality gear lately, and this kit is no exception. Everything feels well-made and reliable, which is exactly what you want from a battery system.
The charger is another highlight. It’s compact—about half the size of many traditional chargers—so it doesn’t take up much space in your bag. It’s also a dual charger, and it supports both USB-C and micro-USB input. That flexibility makes it incredibly convenient, especially when traveling or working in different environments where cable options might be limited.
Overall, this is a well-designed, high-quality battery kit at a very reasonable price. I’ll definitely be using these on upcoming shoots.
Highly recommended—like most K&F Concept products, they really got this one right.
