It's sturdy, adaptable to a variety of uses, lightweight without being fragile or flimsy, and durable enough to be reliable.
The included phone mount is flimsy but serviceable. I got a better phone mount, however.
If you are taking long-distance shots in windy conditions, you might want something with more mass. Vibration with a full-size DSLR with lens is probably going to degrade critical photo quality, but for 90% of users, this tripod is a good choice.
