Highly configurable professional tripod
The tripod comes with a carrying case that provides ample storage for both the tripod itself and some accessories. A shoulder strap is also included for carrying the tripod, and the case is of good quality, a very welcome addition.
This highly configurable tripod boasts a load capacity of up to 8kg, a quick-release mount for your DSLR, and three different extension positions: 84cm when closed, 134cm with one section extended, and 184cm with both sections extended. The mount head allows for 360° rotation, and an accessory is included for tilting and moving the camera remotely. Additionally, although not included, a mount can be attached to one of the threads to connect a monitor, allowing you to view the camera feed without having to touch the camera.
The leg locking system is very simple, but I find it fantastic. It uses clicks between two legs to prevent them from opening easily. Furthermore, since they're made of plastic, if one breaks or gets lost, you can easily 3D print replacement parts and attach it without any problem, as it's not a difficult part to replicate.
As for how the legs open, they have threaded locks that require one and a half turns to open, and you can lock them at a height other than their maximum extension. It's very easy to set up and unfold in a snap.
The tripod is very easy to assemble overall. Anyone using this type of tripod is clearly not a novice, and you can certainly appreciate the high-quality construction materials.
If you're looking for a professional tripod to take a leap forward in quality, this is a high-quality and very versatile tripod that you'll be able to use for a long time.
