A Great 2-in-1 Filter That Simplifies My Photography Setup”
As someone who enjoys photography and experimenting with different looks in camera, I was excited to try this K&F Concept 2-in-1 CPL and Black Diffusion filter. I normally carry multiple filters when shooting, but switching between them can be inconvenient, especially when the lighting changes quickly. This filter caught my attention because it combines two useful effects in one piece of glass, which makes shooting much simpler.
The build quality was the first thing that stood out when I opened the package. The filter feels solid, well-made, and professionally finished. The metal frame is sturdy and the glass itself looks very clean and clear. The threading is smooth as well, which made attaching it to my 67mm lens quick and easy without any resistance.
What I like most about this filter is the combination of CPL and black diffusion effects. Normally these would require stacking two separate filters, but this design integrates them together. This means fewer accessories to carry and no need to keep removing filters while shooting.
The CPL (circular polarizer) side works exactly as expected. When rotating the filter, it reduces reflections on non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, or leaves. I noticed that it also helps enhance colors, particularly the sky and foliage, which gives outdoor photos a more vibrant look.
At the same time, the 1/4 black diffusion effect adds a subtle cinematic softness to highlights. This effect is especially noticeable when photographing light sources, portraits, or scenes with bright highlights. Instead of harsh highlights, the light becomes slightly softer and more atmospheric.
I really enjoyed using this filter for portrait photography. The diffusion effect adds a gentle glow to highlights and helps soften skin tones slightly without making the image look blurry. It creates a more natural and pleasing look straight out of the camera.
Another benefit is the true color reproduction. The optical glass used in this filter does a good job maintaining natural color balance. Even with the polarizing effect active, the colors remain consistent and accurate without strange color shifts.
The nano coating on the glass is another useful feature. It helps reduce reflections, ghosting, and flare, especially when shooting toward bright light sources like sunsets or street lights. I noticed that images remain clean and clear even in challenging lighting conditions.
Cleaning the filter is also very easy thanks to the water- and oil-repellent coating. Fingerprints or dust wipe away quickly with a microfiber cloth, which is helpful when shooting outdoors.
The filter also feels durable enough for regular use. The hardened coating protects against small scratches and makes it easier to maintain over time.
Another practical advantage is avoiding vignetting that can sometimes happen when stacking multiple filters. Because both effects are combined in one filter, the lens setup remains slimmer and more balanced.
For photographers who enjoy cinematic visuals, portraits, travel photography, or landscapes, this filter provides a nice balance between creative diffusion and practical polarization.
In everyday use, it’s a very convenient accessory that saves time while still offering professional-looking results. It has quickly become one of those filters that stays on my lens for many types of shoots.
