Good budget light stand
This light stand is compact and well-built for a budget product. The different sections slide easily and the locking clamps work well. However, the plastic clamps aren’t very sturdy and they’ll likely break over time with heavy usage.I used this stand about 10 times in the past month to hold a variety of video lights that aren’t too heavy. The stand has been stable and I didn’t encounter any issues. I wish the center column would drop lower without needing to spread the legs so much - this would make it more versatile in tight spaces. I don't think this stand would perform well with relatively heavy lights, even when using a sandbag.In summary, this is a good budget light stand that is best suited for lightweight setups.
