I have three of these now
The hinge is stiff enough to hold the light at whatever angle I need, while adjustable without excessive force.The magnet is good. The light only comes off because I need to apply some force while rotating the light or adjusting the hinge.I don’t use the light on my phone. I attach one to a phone tripod which has a magnetic ring, one to a phone holder with double magnetic rings (see photo), and I leave one unattached for lighting things from below or the side. (The hinge can be used at any angle, so I can also prop the light on its side to light small objects.)These little lights are lightweight and slim, fitting easily into my pockets.
