Unfold the legs, extend the five sections, and you have up to 65 cm of reach in tripod mode or 62 cm when used as a handheld wand. The magnetic quick-release clasp secures the camera in an instant, and a 360-degree ball head with a 90-degree tilt lets me move from sweeping landscape shots to upright clips for the grandparents.The build quality is a mixed story. The grip feels reassuringly solid and the silicone-lined feet cling to rock or grass at half height. Extend it fully and the slender tubes begin to tremble, so any hint of wind has me lowering a section. A side-mounted 1⁄4-inch thread is useful for a small light, yet the permanently fixed DJI plate leaves my phone and GoPro at home.For devoted Osmo users it is light, pocket-friendly and quick to assemble, delivering acceptable stability provided you avoid the tallest setting on a blustery hill. I am content with the convenience and finish, although wider compatibility would have made it an even better purchase.
