This set is useful for protecting the Insta360 X5 during transport and use, consisting of a silicone cover and a lens cap. The cap adheres well and protects the lenses from accidental scratches, especially when the camera is stored in a bag. The cover is made of thin silicone, covers the edges well without being bulky, and leaves direct access to the battery, the charging flap (be careful not to get the silicone caught when closing or the waterproofness would be compromised), the microphones and the lower thread for easels. The keys, despite being covered, are still usable thanks to the reliefs on the rubber. An important note concerns compatibility with the original case: with only the cover mounted, the camera enters the case without problems. If you also add the cap for the lenses, however, it is no longer possible to close it. The cap is still useful for those who do not use the case or carry it differently. In general, the protection offered is good, even if the cover gives the impression of being a little too thin. This is probably a necessary compromise so as not to interfere with the shooting or to increase the footprint too much. The edges are however more protected than without having any cover.
