Cutouts for the charging port, battery access, and controls are well placed, so you don’t need to remove the cage during normal use. The added external power button on the side is a particularly nice touch and makes operation easier once the cage is installed.From an expansion standpoint, this cage really shines. The dual cold shoe mounts and multiple 1/4" screw points make it easy to add microphones, lights, or mount the camera on tripods and clamps. I especially like having the 1/4" mount at the base, which allows me to add a quick-release plate for larger tripods when shooting in windy conditions. The bottom magnetic quick-release interface is convenient and the magnets are strong, though tolerances are a bit tight—some DJI-style clips work perfectly while others don’t fit at all. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of if you rely heavily on multiple quick-release accessories.The included silicone lens cover has already proven its value. It’s come in handy several times when handling the camera, offering real protection for the lenses during transport and minor drops. Considering that a cracked lens on the Osmo 360 means replacing the entire camera, that extra layer of protection alone makes this cage worth it.Overall, this is a well-designed, durable, and highly functional cage that adds both protection and versatility to the Osmo 360.
