To have your hands free
For some time I had been looking for a shoulder strap suitable for the Osmo Pocket that would allow me to have my hands free and at the same time allow me to have the camera always at hand.
I had only found some wrist straps which, however, I never thought were practical or safe for the camera.
Finally I found this strap, very simple and very well done, which allows me to always have the camera ready but does not force me to constantly hold it in my hand. It's true that the Osmo Pocket is very small and can fit in your pocket, but it's not really the best of comfort and my main fear is that it will slip off and fall.
The strap, on the other hand, seems secure and, as it is made, it also prevents excessive bobbing of the camera. It should also be said that we have a very thick and very long lanyard, so there are no problems adjusting according to the user's height.
The strap also allows you to connect the cell phone through a tab to be inserted into the cover, a solution that I don't like very much and I don't think I'll adopt it. But this possibility should also be noted, so if you want to keep your cell phone around your neck on one side and the Osmo on the other, you can do it.
The metal parts of the lace/shoulder strap are sturdy and well made, made of very resistant steel, so they are not likely to break. The 1/4” screw allows you to screw in the base of the Osmo and a rubber pad prevents the camera body from being scratched.
The strap can be worn as a simple shoulder strap or “tied” as a sort of shoulder strap to reduce the movement of the camera when left on its side.
Keys or other objects can also be attached to the shoulder strap, if desired, but I don't think I'll ever do it because it risks weighing it down too much: its main function is to facilitate the transport and use of the Osmo Pocket.
Finally, which does not hurt, once attached, the shoulder strap is also quite elegant, just enough not to give the impression of an approximate and arranged solution.
